plantation in the wasteland

One of my ideas

I found very good medicinal plants in and around Bangalore.

I am sure some person has planned for these plants in Bangalore. So that these plants can be utilised by the general public in many ways.

Few of them I know are

1. Indian Almond
2. Castor
3. Karanja
4. Neem
5. Red berry

There are many other plants as well.

I was thinking why people are not planning to start propagating them in all other parts of the country as well.

For an example,

Castor seeds are plenty in Bangalore. No one is using them. We can collect the castor seeds for free in Bangalore and we can take them to our natives to throw the seeds in and around our homes in our native. It will propagate very easily.

In few years you will find a lot of plants in your village or home town. It can give some income for the people there. It is your duty to help people in your mother home town to increase their standard of life.

Please think of some ideas like this which will save lives of people in and around us.

This will not last long

This will not last long

By murmuring the phrase "This Will Not Last Long", a happiest person feels sad and a person in sorrow will definitely feels good.

The greatest single sentence which provides two different feelings to two different person in two different situations.

So never be so happy or so sad about anything that is happening to and around you. Things come and go like money. Money never stays with any single person.

Live the life to its fullest and make yourself ready for every odds. Plan something big. You never know it may come to you from some way or the other. It may not stay long but it will give you satisfaction of achieving it. Who knows that the best thing you aimed is going away from you to give you some thing more than the best. Remember that greatest thing might not also stay with you for ever.

This is life and we have to think and achieve big, bigger and biggest ...

Why Integrated Farming?
Integrated farming helps in utilising the waste to recycle and produce the food products faster as well as cost effective. The waste produced from animals can be used for plant growth and the plant waste can be used as the animal feed while making money from the main sources of food.

Health Benefits Of Farm Products

Health Benefits Of Farm Products

Organically grown food has multiple health benefits as compared to inorganic food items. The organic food contains beneficial nutrients in the form of simple compounds which can be digested by human body. Chemical fertiliser has complex compounds which human body can not digest and it has therefore has side effects to our body.

Some people are very much conscious about what they eat and what they feed to their family. Always plan for organic food products to keep your family's health at its best. We are planning to move slowly towards organic food.

Now a days we are able to hear about Organic Milk. That means cows and buffaloes are fed the organic farm items like hydroponic and organic legumes to collect the organic milk from them. The cost therefore is little high.

Some people are not able to digest diary products like milk. That is called Lactose Intolerance. This is because the person's digestive system is not up to the mark which can digest the lactose content in the milk. But they should not avoid milk as this is the main source of protein and many other beneficial vitamins. The person should drink warm water before having the milk or milk products. Then the lactose will be digested properly.

Meat from farm animals is one more best source of food. Goat meat is the best for human body as goats eat green leaves. Goat mainly eat Neem leaf and digests a larger part of it. So goat meat is the best meat available for humans.

Milk, meat, eggs, vegetables, fruits, legumes like this many things can be grown in an integrated farming. The economy of India or any country to that matter can be improved by giving some importance to farming. Government is already supporting the farmers in many ways to produce high quality food product for the public.

Farm Management and Growth

Farm Management and Growth

Managing an integrated farm and making good profit is challenging and adventurous. If you plan it properly things will go on the way as you move forward. This involve a lot of knowledge in terms of plant and animal growth, its diseases and propagation.

I see some universities offer Farm Management course. Managing an organic farm with a good profit is like helping the nature when you make a very good life. Being close to the nature you will feel very happy that you could do it yourself.

In India we have the issue of getting some land. If you are lucky enough, then you have your parental land property. Don't every sell a land that you have with you. That can give you Green Gold. Plan your land properly and start doing organic farming.

Managing a farm:

Managing a farm is same as managing a start up. Modern farms are integrated. They grow multiple plants and animals as well as aquaculture. So managing everything scientifically would be a very good profession. If you are very good at managing a farm and able to generate good income, then you don't have to worry about your life. This can be taken as a serious profession.

Farm Management is going to be the future as everyone would like to have organically grown food. Start learning things today. And this will help you manage your family in the right direction on the right food.

How to prepare soil for terrace garden

How to prepare soil for terrace garden

Growing organic vegetables need a lot of patience and hard work, especially when you don't want to spend a lot of money on buying the processed soil mix.

Then the only option left is to prepare your own soil. I tried the same with kitchen waste, dry leaves and cow dung. I have collected the vegetable market waste i.e. cauliflower leaves which are thrown from K R Puram market. I have collected it at high quantity. I also collected some cow dung. Mixed these two and left for few days covering it with soil. After a week the compost was little prepared. that I have spread in the containers and filled the top with soil.

Earlier for the first container, I have used rice straw and covered it with soil. I added one kg of vermi-compost. That grew a good quantity of earth worms. Now I have sufficient earth worms. A little quantity of the earth worms are being transferred to the new container as well. This way I have prepared my soil.

This is how it looks now. And I have planted some mint and spinach.
